iJo Power were recommended to me by a friend who was self installing a much larger system. Immediately the patience and expertise of iJo Power to answer all my design and power questions was apparent.
Being a complete novice with no experience, I was guided through the process of power and design considerations with the unexpected guidance of utilising existing lower ground structures to support the solar panels – even building a pergola to support a 1.8kWh array.
I had some understanding of battery storage, but once again Andrew’s input was invaluable and utilising battery storage has been a very wise addition. During the day our loads are fairly low so being able to store this energy for later loads has proved to be a superb investment.
Through September and October there were some weeks where nothing was drawn from the grid, and even the cloudy days were capable of providing some charge to the batteries for later use.
To say I’m delighted with the support from iJo Power is an understatement, especially when we had a teething issue with the configuration of the inverter that was rectified.
From initial discussion and design support, to setup, switch on and optimisation, iJo Power have been so incredibly helpful. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.
