Installing a PV and battery system that is connected to the grid requires certification and in some cases, permission from the DNO. Systems capable of delivering 3680W or less back to the grid are certified as G98, and do not require an application prior to installation. Best practice suggests you should notify your DNO. Systems capable of greater than 3680W grid export require G99 certification, and an application must be made to your DNO prior to installation.
